General Manager – Harpoon Beer Hall | Boston, MA

Harpoon Beer Hall in Boston’s Seaport is looking for an experienced and high-impact General Manager to lead the charge at our flagship location. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a multi-dimensional, guest-forward operation that includes full-service dining, brewery tours, private events, a retail store, and more—all under one roof.

As General Manager, you’ll be the face and heartbeat of Harpoon Boston, responsible for driving performance, leading department heads, and creating a culture that energizes both the team and the guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands vision, accountability, and a passion for craft beer and community.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all daily operations across FOH, BOH, events, retail, and tours to ensure smooth execution and memorable guest experiences
• Lead and develop a team of managers, building strong leadership at every level and driving accountability across departments
• Own the P&L—delivering on revenue, labor, and cost targets while maintaining service excellence
• Lead from the floor during peak service, modeling hospitality standards and team culture
• Champion operational tools and systems (Toast, Restaurant365, Sling, etc.) for scheduling, inventory, and reporting
• Ensure the facility, service, and staff presentation meet the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and brand alignment
• Collaborate with marketing and events to activate programming, drive traffic, and represent the brand in the community
• Maintain structured internal communications and lead weekly manager meetings to align the team and share goals
