Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Thousand Oaks, CA, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language support to elementary-aged students to enhance their communication skills and overall academic performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment results and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload and complete documentation in a timely manner.

  • Contract Details :

  • Position is for the duration of the next school year (NSY).
  • Contract employment basis.
