About The Position

Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based) – Charles Burrell Visual & Performing Arts Campus

Location : Aurora, CO 80011

Duration : 37 Weeks (2025–2026 School Year)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, Day Shift (7 : 30 AM – 3 : 30 PM, 37.5 hours / week; Part-time : 22.5 hours / week)

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct Assessments & Therapy : Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.

Manage Caseloads : Full-time caseload of approximately 45 students; part-time caseload of approximately 20 students.

Collaborate with Staff & Families : Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Compliance & Documentation : Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Support School Programs : Participate in school-wide initiatives and integrate speech / language support into the arts-focused curriculum.

Job Requirements

Qualifications :

Current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) required.

Colorado State SLP License and Colorado Department of Education Certification required (must be issued prior to start).

Previous school-based experience preferred; strong collaboration and communication skills essential.
