Key Responsibilities :
Assess each emergency situation to determine the best course of action based on advanced Paramedic protocols.
Utilize medical equipment and procedures such as EKG monitors, defibrillators, IVs, and more to deliver advanced care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones, providing reassurance and information about the care being provided.
Lead the Paramedic team, assuming responsibility for the overall management of the emergency scene and unit operations.
Drive the ambulance in response to 911 calls, ensuring safety and compliance while navigating to emergent situations.
Collaborate with healthcare and public safety personnel professionally, ensuring excellent teamwork and communication.
Engage in community programs to promote positive relationships and enhance the image of AMR.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Current California State Paramedic License.
Valid California State Driver's License.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, BTLS, or PHTLS.
Driving record in compliance with company policies.
Ability to successfully pass the Physical Agility Test.
Completion of ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 courses.
CA Ambulance Driver's License.
Medical Examiner's Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior work experience in a healthcare setting.
