Electrical Engineer
As an Electrical Engineer for the Collins Aerospace Galley Inserts group, you will be part of an international team of engineers responsible for innovating, designing, and maintaining designs of various Galley equipment such as ovens, beverage makers, air chillers, and refrigerators. Our products give airlines the ability to serve passengers with a hot meal and beverage when flying around the world.
You will report to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor in Lenexa US, but also remain part of multidisciplinary teams consisting of engineers worldwide.
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team, contributing to the full lifecycle of cutting-edge electro-mechanical systems. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and validation of complex electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they meet rigorous technical and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with system, software, and mechanical engineers to define electrical interfaces and deliver robust solutions for 3-phase power switching, sensor integration, and analog / digital signal processing.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in circuit design, PCB layout, component selection, and system simulation, coupled with experience developing test methods for airworthiness qualification and product validation. You will participate in design reviews, troubleshoot issues across manufacturing and field operations, and engage with international teams and suppliers to ensure compliance, quality, and performance.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
