St. Mary's School is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our school team. The School Bookkeeper plays a critical role in ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reporting, and compliance with established Archdiocesan financial procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a school community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Complete month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Prepare monthly reconciliations and financial statements
- Assist with budget preparation, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with internal deadlines and external audit requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Monitor tuition payments and other school-related fees
- Process payroll and reimbursements
- Ensure compliance with school, diocesan, and regulatory financial policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and vendors regarding financial matters
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience with QuickBooks Online is requiredPrevious bookkeeping, accounting, or finance experience preferredExperience in a non-profit, school, or parish setting is strongly preferredStrong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and / or Google WorkspaceAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive informationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAdditional Requirements
