Corporate Counsel

A company is looking for a Director, Legal to support all aspects of the business with legal expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a nuanced understanding of the industry and align decisions with business goals

Advise on legal issues affecting the business, focusing on SaaS contracts and data protection agreements

Take ownership of the client contracting cycle, ensuring timely and successful completion of negotiations

Required Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and a member of the bar in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction

5 years of legal practice, with experience in both law firms and corporate settings preferred

Experience with B2B SaaS and ideally B2C environments

Strong negotiation skills and ability to explain legal issues clearly

Proven understanding of data processing agreements, CCPA, and GDPR
