Job descriptionProviding outpatient support to the surgical oncology team Managing pre- and post-operative patient care Conducting evaluations and follow-ups Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in EMR Active New Jersey license required CDS / DEA preferred (may be pending at start) Minimum 2 years of surgical or oncology experience preferred Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in surgical or oncology settings Excellent clinical and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
A leading healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support their Outpatient Surgical Oncology team for a 4-month assignment . This role will provide clinical coverage while the facility recruits permanent staff.
About the Opportunity :
- Location : Central New Jersey
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, days only
- On-Call : None
- Setting : Outpatient Surgical Oncology (office-based)
- Duration : 4 months, potential to extend
- Team : 2 physicians and 1-2 APPs on site with support staff
- Licensure : Active NJ license required (CDS / DEA may be pending)
