Required Skills & Experience
Qualifications :
- 3-5 years of experience is Electricians Trades
- Strong mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills
- Deep knowledge of International Codes and general HVAC and plumbing systems
- Journeyman's and Master's License highly preferred
- OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to obtain Competent Person certifications
- Comfortable using technology (laptop, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams)
- Strong foresight, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Able to coordinate multiple activities and maintain accuracy
- Valid driver’s license; able to travel as needed. Physically able to meet job demands (standing, walking, lifting, climbing, working at heights, wearing PPE).
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking Electric Superintendents who are responsible for the overall management of assigned electrical projects. This includes day-to-day oversight of Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, Mechanics, Apprentices, and Helpers. The role ensures all work meets contractual requirements, budget objectives, and safety standards, and reports to the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and direct construction projects from planning to completion, including multiple jobs or large-scale assignmentsSupervise and guide project leaders and field teams, ensuring professional, craftsman-like installationMaintain strict adherence to company safety rules and lead safety assessments and meetings. Schedule material, equipment deliveries, subcontractors, and start-up manpower to maintain project timelinesReview and release shop and spool drawings for timely field installationConduct performance reviews, initiate pay increase requests, and enforce disciplinary policies. Collaborate with the Seniors and Project Manager on monthly cost-to-complete reviews. Recommend and act on personnel decisions (hiring, transfers, promotions, discipline, etc.). Communicate regularly with management about job status, opportunities, and issuesIdentify and resolve project problems proactively
