Travel RN Job Details Location : Pueblo, Colorado (81003) - Colorado nursing jobs Healthcare Setting : General Medical / Surgical & Telemetry Unit (Orthopedic focus) Job Type : Travel Registered Nurse contract Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 - End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 Unit : 5 East - 28 staffed beds Charting System : Epic (Epic experience required) Scrub Color : Navy Weekend Requirement : 7 weekend shifts per contract Floating : Required to all med / surg units and may float to sister healthcare facilities Estimated Weekly Salary : $2020 - $2070 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience (first-time travel nurses accepted with at least 2 years of experience) Active Colorado or Compact State RN license Current AHA BLS certification CPR certification Epic charting experience required Clinical skills : central line care / management, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), feeding tube care, heparin protocols, isolation precautions, IV insulin protocols, telemetry, nasal cannula, ortho trauma, oxygen administration, PICC line management, renal failure, starting / maintaining IVs, titration of insulin drips, total joint replacements, rapid response / code teams RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to general med / surg, neurosurgical, and orthopedic patients (hips, knees, shoulders, and back surgeries) Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and manage IVs and telemetry monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services Float to other med / surg units and sister healthcare facilities as needed Maintain accurate documentation using Epic electronic health records Participate in rapid response and code teams as required Follow isolation precautions and hospital safety protocols Support patients through post-operative recovery and rehabilitation Ready to take your nursing career to the next level?
