The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, with a focus on municipal and government growth, and will be instrumental in scaling ARR and capturing key partnerships. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on action, including the personal closing of major deals and coaching a high-performing team to exceed revenue targets.
The ideal candidate for the VP of Sales position at the company will have a proven track record in building and managing high-performing sales teams, with extensive experience in B2G sales and a strong background in recurring-revenue models and account management strategies. An entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for team building, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment are essential. The role demands a leader who is highly disciplined, professional, and self-aware, with the ability to foster a customer-first culture and ensure data-driven forecasting. The VP of Sales will also be expected to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to travel up to 20-30% of the time.
