The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for aDoorperson to join the team ! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.

Classification : Seasonal

Shift : Various must be available to weekdays weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate : The pay rate for this role is $16.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing

As a Doorperson you will provide a transportation service to Guest and visitors as requested where safety cleanliness and superior customer service are always included. A Doorperson contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and therefore must perform the following tasks to the highest standards :

• Welcome Guests on arrival and assist with their luggage
• Oversee delivery and safe keeping of luggage keep the luggage room in order
• Stay current on all hotel services as well as VIP requirements and special events
• Demonstrate a current knowledge of external locations attractions and landmarks in the vicinity
• Provide support to the Concierge in cases of emergency
• Comply with all hotel security fire regulations and Health and Safety legislation
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service
