Leads Centralized Schedulers in scheduling, cancelling, rescheduling, and registering of outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics, by collecting all necessary information for schedule and registration preparation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND / OR LICENSURE :

1. High School diploma or equivalent.

2. State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.

EXPERIENCE :

1. One (1) year of scheduling experience.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Monitors scheduling activities in assigned areas to ensure patient satisfaction, accurate scheduling, proper information being collected, and checking in and out of patients.

2. Performs all duties of centralized scheduling including, but not limited to, checking in and out patients, scheduling and registering patients, obtaining required information, and collecting time of service payments.

3. Ensures all supplies, materials, and equipment are available for proper performance of duties; reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.

4. Identifies and communicates need for scheduling modifications and development.

5. Responds to all patient communication in a timely manner.

6. Assists in training employees in scheduling practices.
