As a Patrol Unarmed Officer working in a healthcare environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within hospital settings, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will remain highly visible while conducting routine patrols, provide responsive customer service to patients, staff, and visitors, and support hospital operations through communication and a caring approach. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregularities.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel and / or Allied Universal management.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and basic information related to the location as needed.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those in the area.
  • Complete detailed and timely reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Must be able to work in hospital environments, including morgue areas, as required by the post.
  • Must be able to assist with the physical restraint of individuals as needed in a hospital setting.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
