Job descriptionAssist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children. Actively engage in daily classroom activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of materials. Maintain open and frequent communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports. Model and encourage self-help skills and good hygiene habits. Support smooth daily transitions from home to the childcare center. Follow all center policies and state childcare regulations. Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. At least 18 years of age Of good character and reputation Passionate about working with children Ability to build positive rapport with children, parents, and coworkers Positive, patient, and energetic demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum 3 months of professional childcare experience Understanding of child development Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency Must pass a full background check and health screening
