Position Overview :

As a Radiologic Technologist , you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your main duties will include performing radiographic imaging exams, operating radiology equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. You'll work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to deliver accurate imaging results that are essential for diagnosing and treating patients.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including X-rays and other imaging studies, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Safely operate radiographic equipment and ensure proper positioning to obtain the best images.
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of imaging procedures.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, yourself, and colleagues.
  • Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and making patients feel at ease during exams.
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Requirements :

  • Education : Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
  • Certification : Current ARRT certification required
  • State License : Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Indiana
  • Experience : Prior experience in radiologic technology preferred but not required
  • Skills : Strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
