Job descriptionWork 7 days on / 7 days off; 24-hour shifts 2 surgeon model with APP support 12 hours of primary call, then 12 hours of backup call coverage Backup call does not require in-house presence Support from advanced practice clinicians Moderate trauma with a variety of cases Evaluation of all trauma and emergency general surgery consults Outpatient follow-up in clinic Round on in-house patients $25k signing incentive Relocation assistance up to $20k Quality bonus Limited billing and coding responsibilities Access to TeamHealth's wellness program, professional development tools, and nationwide network of surgeons Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Health Care Provider Industries : Hospitals and Health Care

We are seeking exceptional general surgeons to join our trauma and acute care general surgery program at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Hendrick Medical Center is a level III trauma center equipped with cutting-edge technology, 14 operating rooms, and a welcoming staff environment.
Qualifications
- Fellowship in surgical critical care or trauma
- MD or DO : board certified
- Active or in-process Texas medical license
- Willing to relocate to the Abilene area
