We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Addison, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing budgets, analyzing costs, and preparing financial reports for various projects. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with program leads and government stakeholders in a dynamic aerospace and defense environment.
Responsibilities :
- Track and manage financial data related to daily budget execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand program requirements and priorities.
- Prepare and reconcile financial summaries using Excel or other systems.
- Utilize both government and commercial financial tracking tools effectively.
- Monitor program costs and activities to ensure alignment with financial targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide comprehensive financial support.
- Oversee program reporting and provide detailed financial insights.
- Develop reports using tools such as Deltek Costpoint and ensure accuracy in all financial deliverables.
- At least five years of experience in government accounting operations, including familiarity with policies, procedures, and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) budget cycles and fiscal law.
- Proficiency in forecasting budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures.
- Experience working with program accounting, government contracting, and budgeting for quarterly and annual cycles.
- Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one prior to starting.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial reporting.
