Advanced Practice Provider-Musculoskeletal and Orthopedics

About this role :

As an Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (physician assistant or nurse practitioner) part of the Musculoskeletal team at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. The Musculoskeletal team at American Fork Hospital has 4 providers : 1 physician, 1 APP, and 2 athletic trainers.

The APP will provide general orthopedics care to patients of all ages. The APP will see patients in clinic, first assist in related surgeries, and round with post-operative patients in the hospital. Clinic responsibilities will include seeing new patients for initial visits, pre-op, post-op, and follow up visits for existing patients.

In this role, you can anticipate :

• Practicing at American Fork Hospital and occasionally practicing at Saratoga Springs and Lehi, Utah
• Sub-Specialty call to support Orthopedic Program; you may be asked to participate in call, but commitment varies by facility and need.Compensation offered for call requirement.
• This position includes relocation assistance for those who qualify
