Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital with both inpatient and outpatient settings, including ER, NICU, and Adult ICU MRI department utilizing Siemens scanners : Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida Shift is 4x10 hour mids from 12 : 00 to 22 : 30, with a rotating day off and one Saturday per month and one holiday per rotation if needed Position may float within the hospital to meet service line needs but not to sister facilities Patient populations include adults and neonates, with a wide variety of advanced MRI procedures performed Uses EPIC for charting; Epic experience strongly preferred First-time travelers are accepted Black scrubs are required Parking available for a fee via monthly parking pass No local candidates accepted within 75 miles of the facility No more than 7 days of RTO allowed per 13-week contract, and no RTO permitted during the first week Permanent former employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Facial hair must allow for fit testing or must be shaved for respirator fit testing Return staff and contract limits apply : standard travelers can stay 18 months with a 3-month break required; allied staff up to 12 months with a 6-month break Testing, modules, and orientation are provided pre-assignment Requirements Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required Minimum of 1 year MRI tech experience required BLS certification required Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required Experience with advanced imaging applications highly preferred, including abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, MRP, perfusion, spectroscopy, surface coils, T1 / T2 images Ability to start IVs and PACS experience preferred Must be able to work with both adult and neonatal patient populations Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility Pending state license accepted if applicable; license required if applicable Epic charting experience preferred Willingness and ability to float within service line as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609377.
