Our client, a leader in research and facility management, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Operations supporting the maintenance and safety of the building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Andover, MA

Pay Range : Compensation is based on experience and qualifications

What's the Job?

• Monitor various building automation system computers to ensure systems operate within specified parameters such as temperature, humidity, static pressure, and electrical current.
• Respond to system alerts by following documented procedures to protect equipment, personnel, and ongoing research activities.
• Monitor energy efficiency of building systems and implement improvements where possible.
• Assist electrical, mechanical, and control system technicians in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.
• Oversee additional site systems, including fire monitoring and research-oriented systems like QUN, Schneider, Siemens, and EcoStructure.
