Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales and profit objectives.
- Identify contact and negotiate with potential and existing customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotations and proposals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer quotes and orders.
- Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Attend trade shows conventions and professional events as directed to promote company products and services.
- Provide performance coaching and leadership to assigned team members and ensure departmental alignment with company goals.
- Prepare and submit required sales reports and forecasts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Meet or exceed all customer expectations.
Qualifications
Education :
Required : High school diploma or equivalentPreferred : Bachelors degree in engineering Technology or a related fieldExperience :
Requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferably in the heat exchanger industry)Proven success in business development and customer relationship managementSkills & Abilities :
Strong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to interpret technical information and industry trendsProficiency in preparing and analyzing sales reports and proposalsStrong problem-solving negotiation and interpersonal skillsAssertive personality in a highly competitive industryAbility to perform business and technical math calculations accuratelySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamOther Requirements :
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to customer sites as neededAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in both office and field environments; including but not limited to having full range of body movements precise command of all five senses and ability to work long hours if needed.Performance Expectations :
