Job description

General Laborer

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the mechanical scope.

Assists with the following :

  • String Line
  • Laser
  • Pile Shakeout
  • Pile Installation
  • Pile Remediation
  • Tracker Shakeout
  • Slew Gear Installation
  • Torque Tube Installation
  • Drive Line Installation
  • Motor Installation
  • Huck & BOM
  • MIB
  • Damper
  • Module Staging
  • Module Installation
  • Tracker QA / QC
  • Module QA / QC
  • SPC Controller

Skills / Abilities :

  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
  • Experience working on construction projects preferred

    • Education :

  • GED or equivalent education preferred
  • Eligible to promote to General Labor II after 60 days of Labor I experience AND meets leadership expectations in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, and positive attitude.
