Job Description :

Location : Wilmington, Massachusetts

CoWorx is seeking Food Production recruits in the Wilmington, MA area.

You will be responsible for performing various duties related to food preparation and processing in a food manufacturing kitchen setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in culinary arts and possess mechanical knowledge to operate food processing equipment.

Shift 5 : 00AM to finish – 6 : 00AM to finish; Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays)

Responsibilities :

Operate and maintain food processing equipment, ensuring proper functioning

Monitor cooking temperatures and times to ensure food is cooked to perfection

Inspect and recognize defective product

Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Desired Background / Skills :

Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Food manufacturing experience a plus

Previous cooking or batch making experience is a plus

Previous experience as a commissary chef / commissary cook is a plus

High School diploma, equivalency diploma, or 2 years experience in the food manufacturing industry

Familiarity with applicable USDA and FDA regulations as they apply to sanitation and employee practices

Ability to lift 25-50 pounds

Must be able to read, write and do basic math
