Qualifications

Required Education :

  • Associate degree in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Cardiovascular Technology.
  • Preferred Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Cardiovascular Technology
  • Required Experience :

  • Two (2) years of EP experience
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of EP experience
  • Required Certification / License / Registry :

  • Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nursing Practice Act),
  • OR

  • Certified as a radiologic technologist in accordance with FS, Title XXXII, Chapter 468 (Miscellaneous Professions and Occupations), Part IV (Radiological Personnel Certification) [including certification / registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)].
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) credential from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) accredited instructor.
  • Responsibilities

    Your Role :

  • Is responsible for clinical and personnel management; providing clinically proficient inpatient care; and efficient, cost-effective resources allocation.
  • Maintains required statistics.
  • Coordinates colleague scheduling (in conjunction with physicians’ schedules) and patient flow for efficient, productive workdays.
  • Serves as the central point of communication and coordination for workflow.
  • Gains understanding of daily activities through huddles, physician communication, and vendor coordination for appropriate procedures.
