Please note this is a hybrid-remote position and will require the selected candidate to work onsite at our Northshore office (2077 Town Center Blvd Knoxville, TN 37922) 1 day per week.

Role : The Partner Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for procuring residential mortgage transactions for partner credit unions. The PMLO will conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, assist in determining financing objectives, advise borrowers of available loan products, and ensure exceptional service by demonstrating a commitment to professional ethics, knowledge of lending programs, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Educates, interviews and consults with borrowers by taking applications and structuring mortgage loans to meet their needs. Provides an educated and consultative financial overview for borrower based on their mortgage request.

Obtains and verifies loan documentation to ensure quality and compliance with internal and external guidelines and regulations; maintains knowledge of applicable Local, State, and Federal rules and regulations.

Tracks the mortgage application through proactive pipeline management to ensure timelines are met and all interested parties are kept informed. Maintains consistent contact with borrowers, and any third parties related to the transaction throughout the application and loan process.

Supports Sales Executive by educating and assisting with problem solving for CUSO credit union partners.

Earns education hours necessary to maintain licensing and performs other duties as assigned.

Experience : Three years or more of lending experience required. Three years or more of residential mortgage lending experience preferred.

Education : A two-year college degree in a business-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Must have or be able to obtain NMLS License.
