Job Description : We are seeking an Entry Level Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of accounting office experience to provide administration support to our Accounting Department. The candidate will perform various clerical tasks, data entry, work with spreadsheets, create reports and assist the senior staff to ensure quality and accurate accounting is being completed.

Please do not apply for this job if you do not have an accounting background. This job will require all applicants to have strong math and computer skills (especially in QuickBooks accounting software and spreadsheets), and a detail-oriented, organized mindset.

Job Title : Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant

Essential Functions :

• Data entry for all accounting transactions
• Account payable and receivables
• General Journal Entities
• Bank Reconciliation
• Year-end 1099 Preparation
• Credit Card Reconciliation
• Filing : Invoices, Bank Statements, and other financial documents
