About the Role :

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Morgan Medical Center plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services across a variety of clinical settings. This position involves collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care effectively. The APP will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, and ensuring continuity of care for patients with diverse medical needs. By utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and skills, the APP contributes to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall efficiency of healthcare delivery. This role demands a commitment to evidence-based practice, patient education, and continuous professional development to meet the evolving needs of the community served by Morgan Medical Center.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted Advanced Practice Provider licensure in the state of practice.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) by a recognized certifying body.
• Minimum of two years clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

The Advanced Practice Provider utilizes clinical assessment and diagnostic skills daily to evaluate patient conditions accurately and develop effective treatment plans. Strong communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care. Proficiency with electronic health records enables efficient documentation and data management, supporting quality patient care and compliance. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are applied continuously to adapt treatment approaches based on patient responses and emerging clinical evidence. Additionally, organizational and time management skills help balance a diverse patient caseload while participating in quality improvement, professional development activities and upholds organizational mission, values and patient-centered care.
