How You Will Make an Impact:

We are looking for Café Attendants at our Norfolk location. Depending on your assigned station, you may be responsible for taking orders and running the cash register, expediting orders, food preparation, or grill cook task. Some typical tasks would be:

• Greeting customers with a warm and welcoming attitude.
• Operating the cash register and POS system to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Preparing and packaging salads and sandwiches according to set recipes.
• Pulling orders together, ensuring the food is up to standard and correct condiments and paper goods are included.
• Handling customer inquires and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations, including stepping in to other roles, as needed.
• Grill, cook, and fry foods such as french fries, hamburgers, pizza, and assorted grill items.
• Plan orders so that items served together are finished at the same time.
• Responsible for station setup.
• Perform food preparation tasks, such as making sandwiches, pizza, making soups or salads, and desserts.
• Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers.
• Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters or tables.
• Perform general cleaning activities in the kitchen.
• Work in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Experience in a food service setting a plus
• A friendly and positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work on the weekends and some holidays
• Pizza Makers Encouraged to Apply!
  • We are looking for cooks with pizza making experience to join our team. If you've worked with pizza ovens, know how to stretch dough, prepare fresh toppings, and create consistently delicious pies, we want to hear from you!

The Good Stuff:

• Base pay 13/hr with tip pool guaranteed to average at least $15/hr (currently, base pay with tip pool averages between $15-$18/hr)
