Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1930 - $2070 per week Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Pittsfield, MA (01201) – Massachusetts healthcare jobs Assignment Length : 13-week travel RN contract Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend and two major holidays required Unit Size : 20–34 beds (varies by unit) Patient Ratio : 1 : 6 typical Dress Code : Personal scrubs (any color) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications (all required at submission) Telemetry nursing experience required Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred Meditech Expanse EHR experience strongly preferred Ability to float to any Med / Surg unit as needed Reliable personal vehicle required for assignment COVID-19 vaccination (dose on or after 10 / 3 / 23) or approved exemption (mask required if exempted) Must live more than 50 miles from facility (travel nurse requirement) Application must include permanent address, work history, current skills checklist (within 1 year), 1 supervisory reference (from past 2 years), and all required licenses / certifications Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes Float to other Med / Surg units as needed throughout the hospital Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Deliver compassionate patient and family education and support Note : All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application.
