Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the higher education sector, is seeking a dedicated Technical Business Systems Analyst to join their innovative team. As a Technical Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the team supporting enterprise-level technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst

Location: Remote (within approved guidelines)

What's the Job?

• Lead business and systems analysis activities for complex Higher Education ERP and Student Information System projects independently.
• Manage the entire requirements lifecycle, including elicitation, documentation, validation, and change management.
• Act as the primary liaison between functional users, technical teams, vendors, and system integrators to ensure seamless communication and project success.
• Support the transition from Oracle Student Financial Aid (SFA) Cloud to PeopleSoft Financial Aid, ensuring operational continuity and compliance.
• Analyze and document integration requirements between PeopleSoft Financial Aid and CampusLogic, focusing on forms, workflows, and data validation.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting enterprise ERP or Student Information System projects.
• Direct experience in a higher education environment supporting PeopleSoft, Student Financial Aid systems, or similar platforms.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process re-engineering, and documentation.
• Experience working with SaaS and on-premise ERP platforms, including system transitions or migrations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Teams.
