Job description

Principal Enterprise Applications SAP Basis Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Principal Enterprise Applications SAP Basis Consultant to provide expert consulting across the full SAP BASIS lifecycle. The role will be involved in business process consulting, solution design, and development, configuration, deployment, and ongoing support of SAP solutions. The consultant will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, client training, internal capability building, and detailed project scoping.

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and deploy SAP BASIS solutions for on‑premises and cloud environments.
  • Lead business process consulting to define problems and propose SAP solutions.
  • Provide guidance on project processes, deliverables, and proposal development.
  • Train clients and internal teams on SAP solution capabilities.
  • Manage solution deployment, cut‑over, and production support.
  • Manage technical teams and ensure solution governance, minimizing customizations.
  • Drive value from software and services contracts through effective budget management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology, with progressive SAP BASIS experience.
  • Hands‑on SAP BASIS consulting experience building and running SAP environments (on‑premises and cloud).
  • Strong networking knowledge for secure SAP environment management (DMZ, SSL, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA, HANA, B / 4HANA implementation, and migration certifications.
  • Proven track record managing large technical teams in complex ERP projects.
  • Inbound safe‑practice and security management for SAP solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal, with willingness to travel.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship; Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
