The Lead Butcher is responsible for creating and maintaining quality experiences for each guest that visits Eatalys Retail Meat Counter. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.
- Cleans cuts weighs packages and labels meat in accordance with Eatalys high-quality standards
- Provides outstanding customer service : assists guests in selecting products and shares knowledge of preparation and cooking techniques
- Stocks counter neatly accurately and in a timely manner as per pricing menu
- Maintains a clean organized and sanitary station according to Department of Health standards
- Orders and monitors inventory for the department
- Supervises trains and motivates the team to increase sales standards and efficiencies
- Participates in meetings with managers as requested
- Distributes supplies throughout retail counter and ensures supplies are being utilized properly
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications :
2 years of experience working with meat preferably in a high-volume retail environmentStrong knowledge of steps of serviceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredJob Requirements
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings weekends and holidaysPhysically able to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally and up to 30 pounds of force frequentlyAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squattingAbility to work with knives hand tools and utensilsAdditional Information :
