Job Title : Teaching Aide (Full-Time)

Position Type : Full-Time / 10 Month position

Salary : $16.83 per hour

Reports to : Principal / Classroom Teacher

Position Summary

Sacred Heart Grade School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Aide to support classroom instruction and provide assistance to both teachers and students. The Teaching Aide plays an essential role in fostering a positive, faith-filled, and productive learning environment in accordance with the mission and values of our Catholic school community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional support, activities, and daily routines.
• Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts.
• Support classroom management and help maintain a safe and respectful environment.
• Provide assistance to students with academic, behavioral, and social needs.
• Prepare and organize materials and resources for lessons and activities.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student success and well-being.
• Uphold and model the values of Sacred Heart Grade School and the Catholic faith tradition.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Full-Time position, Monday–Friday (school hours).

Salary : $16.83 per hour
