Job descriptionBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of hands-on iOS development experience with a focus on Swift. Proficiency with key iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics. Deep understanding of Apples Human Interface Guidelines and best practices for mobile design. Proven ability to deliver applications from concept through production, ideally within startup environments. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance speed with quality. Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience building mobile applications entirely from scratch in a production environment. Background working in fast-paced startups with a focus on rapid iteration and customer impact. Familiarity with system design and broader architectural concepts for mobile platforms. Salary Range : $168,000 $220,000 USD (commensurate with experience and level). About The Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to play a pivotal role in building elegant, high-performance mobile applications from the ground up. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and has a passion for crafting apps that provide seamless user experiences. While the title for this role is Senior Engineer, candidates with extensive experience and leadership capabilities may be considered for a Staff Engineer position.
What Youll Do
- Build from the Ground Up : Lead the development of new iOS applications from scratch, setting technical direction and implementing core frameworks.
- Shape the User Experience : Leverage deep knowledge of Swift and Apple design principles to deliver clean, intuitive, and reliable mobile experiences.
- Architect for Scale : Design and implement features with scalability, maintainability, and performance in mind.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to align technical execution with business objectives.
- Mentor and Inspire : Share expertise, provide guidance, and help elevate the technical skills of peers within the engineering team.
