Job Summary :
Accounts Receivable Manager leads the AR team in a dynamic, detailed and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing receivables in industries with diverse billing terms and invoicing requirements. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, accurate invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions :
- Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Oversee the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes
- Monitor aging reports and proactively manage delinquent accounts to minimize bad debt
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes
- Prepare regular AR reports and metrics for senior management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the AR function
- Utilize SAP to manage AR processes and reporting
- Assist with special projects, as needed

- Consistently demonstrate dependable attendance and timeliness completing all work responsibilities

Education / Experience / Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business or if non-degreed minimum of 2 years AR Supervisor or manager experienceMinimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experienceMinimum of 2 years of supervisor experienceERP experience required; SAP experience preferredRequired Skills / Abilities :
Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR best practicesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in ERP systemsUnderstanding with international billing and multi-currency transactionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent leadership and problem-solving skillsProven experience in a fast-paced industry with diverse billing structuresDetailed oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast pace environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency with working with numerical dataStrong analytical skillsStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organizationDemonstrated integrity with a high level of professionalism and commitment to confidentialitySpecial / Physical Requirements (denote if office, hybrid, remote) :
