About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for its Complex Claims organization. This senior officer will be responsible for the overall strategic direction and general management of the claims division, with a focus on major loss units, construction defects, and unsupported excess. The role involves partnering with senior management to develop and execute strategic and operational plans that significantly impact the short and long-term success of the claim organization. The successful candidate will ensure the achievement of profitability, growth, and operational efficiency, and will be a key player in the formulation and execution of corporate and claim organization strategy and policy.

The SVP will be expected to have advanced communication, leadership, and management skills, and a proven ability to drive results. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, in finance, business, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 15 years of work experience in commercial or risk management claims, including 10 years in a management role. Professional certifications such as CPA, CPCU, or Fellowship are also preferred. The role demands a leader who can effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and who is committed to the values of the organization, including employee engagement, continuous learning, and a customer-focused approach.
