Pool Technician

With a portfolio of distinctive properties, we're looking for a full-time Pool Technician to keep our pools and spas safe, clean, and guest-ready.

This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who takes pride in detail, embraces technology, and communicates well across teams. As a Pool Technician, you'll play a key role in upholding Brightwild's reputation for exceptional service while ensuring our guests enjoy a flawless poolside experience.

Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance

  • Test and balance water chemistry daily (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
  • Maintain pumps, filters, heaters, and circulation systems
  • Brush walls, vacuum, skim debris, and clean decks
  • Inspect and clean skimmers, baskets, and drains
  • Perform scheduled backwashing and filter service

Reactive Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, timers)
  • Address leaks, clogs, and circulation issues
  • Replace worn parts (seals, o-rings, valves, etc.)
  • Shock / treat pools and spas as needed to restore water quality
  • Respond promptly to guest or team-reported issues

    • Technology & Communication

  • Use company apps to log chemical readings, manage tasks, and track work
  • Coordinate with Guest Experience Managers, Housekeeping, and Maintenance on pool readiness
  • Maintain accurate digital service records
  • Partner with outside vendors for complex repairs when required

    • Other Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety codes
  • Uphold Brightwild's standards for guest safety, cleanliness, and presentation
