Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Anchorage, AK 99508 (Alaska healthcare jobs)

Facility Type : Stand-alone Ambulatory Surgery Center

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Oct 20, 2025 – Jan 19, 2026)

Shift : Monday–Friday, 6 : 45 AM – 3 : 15 PM (8-hour day shifts)

Hours per Week : 40

No weekends or holidays required

Potential for overtime

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2210–$2370 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alaska

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (PALS required for multi-specialty center)

Minimum 1 year of circulating nurse experience in the Operating Room

Experience with multiple surgical specialties (Orthopedic, Plastics, Ophthalmology, ENT, General Surgery, Urology, Pain Management, Podiatry)

Ability to float to affiliated outpatient surgery centers as needed

Key Responsibilities for OR RN

Circulate in a variety of outpatient surgical procedures, supporting patient safety and comfort

Work collaboratively with RNs and Surgical Technicians (1 RN and 1 Surgical Tech per room, with relief teams)

Deliver patient-centered perioperative care in compliance with facility policies and infection control standards

Participate in onboarding, orientation, and adherence to unit protocols

Scrub on select cases and / or provide conscious sedation if qualified or willing to train
