Own your opportunity at GDIT and you’ll be a meaningful part of improving how agencies operate.  Our work depends on a Computerized Drawings Specialist joining our team to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program in Falls Church, VA.

This is an IT Service Management contract in support of GENM-O’s mission is to enable information dominance from the tactical edge to the home station for the Army, DoD, National Command Authority, and international partners by acquiring, implementing, and sustaining strategic satellite and terrestrial communication systems, and by leveraging technologies to meet current and future requirements.  AGUN is to design, procure, maintain, deploy, and transition a Global SDN solution in accordance with applicable Army policies and regulations. The AGUN-INC1 TO will provide a unified approach to ensure standardized deployments and configurations at multiple locations throughout the globe.

To be successful in this position you need to be collaborative and willing to work within a team. While you will need to be a self-starter completing tasks on your own, working together is critical in this role. You will be interfacing with the client and senior staff. Therefore, you should be articulate in your communications because your opinion matters. You will need to explain technical intricacies in a way that is easily understood.

Computerized Drawings Specialist (AutoCAD Revit / 3D Modeling) : Understands AutoCAD / Revit and is familiar with its various tools, commands, and features. Quickly creates, modifies, and annotates drawings using AutoCAD.

Has a solid foundation in technical drawing principles, including orthographic projection, dimensioning, geometric construction, and understanding of various views (e.g., plan, elevation, section). Possesses familiarity with relevant codes and Army standards. Possesses knowledge of systems engineering principles relevant to their projects. Is meticulous in work with precision and attention to detail.

The likely salary range for this position is $52,603 - $87,859. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
