SkyWater is hiring a Senior Staff Factory Automation Engineer for our Kissimmee, FL site. Will serve as a technical lead designing, coding, and supporting factory automation equipment interfaces. Will introduce and implement new applications, technologies, or techniques to support factory automation.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain automation equipment interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment using SECS / GEM and GEM300 protocols.
• Integrate automation solutions to 3rd party support systems such as Automatic Process Control (APC) or Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) within the factory.
• Identify and implement custom Automation rules for improving site metrics such as Automated Move Out %, Line Yield, rework etc.
• Troubleshoot automation and equipment issues from application and communication log files.
• Works with tool owners to identify and document equipment control strategies.
• Can work independently on complex problems and serve as top level support for junior engineers or technicians in the company.

The annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $165,000. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
