Night shift, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Float Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care in our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong rhythm identification skills and the ability to handle critical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry data, identifying critical rhythms promptly.
  • Provide nursing care to patients on telemetry, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and telemetry procedures.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Current New York State RN License
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience, including rhythm recognition skills
  • Experience with critical drips and CVA care is a plus
  • Proficient in Epic charting system
  • Flu vaccine or exemption required
  • Ability to pass a hospital proctored test in rhythm identification with >

    • 80% accuracy
