Job Description

Parkview Health is actively recruiting a Board Eligible / Board Certified Outpatient IBD Gastroenterologist to join their well-established team in Fort Wayne, Indiana .

Specifics of The Role

  • Outpatients only in GI clinic and outpatient procedures
  • NO weekend call , with only 1-2 weekday call days per month

NPs are in house 24 / 7 and take first call, minimal callback

  • No inpatient rounding is required as you have partners that will cover the inpatient side
  • General GI opportunity but IBD training / experience is optimal.
  • Salaried position with option to be productivity based, if preferred

    • The Team

  • Our group consists of inpatient physicians, outpatient physicians and advanced practice providers who have completed years of specialized training in gastroenterology . Support team consists of two APPs, two nurses, a procedure scheduler and scribe.
  • The General Gastroenterology Team is supported by an Interventional Gastroenterology team.
  • We are focused on providing personalized care to patients who suffer from all gastrointestinal conditions including Crohns Disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, esophageal cancer, Barretts esophagus, acid reflux, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, digestive disease and colon cancer .
  • Our GI team provides services out of three Northeast Indiana Main office is located on our beautiful Parkview Regional Medical Center campus.
