Job Summary and Qualifications
This full-time position offers a work schedule from Monday to Friday, with no night shifts, weekends, or holidays.
We are looking for a skilled Medical Assistant who can enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care. Join our supportive team and take your career to the next level!
In this role, you will :
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including taking medical histories and vital signs.Set up exam rooms with required instruments and maintain supplies and equipment.Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.Support physicians during minor surgeries and physical exams.Manage phone inquiries and screen for referrals.What you will need :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred, and candidates without certification must obtain it within one year of hire.Active and unrevoked credentials such as RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA are favored.Become an integral part of HCA Healthcare's mission to provide high-quality patient-centered care.
