Position Summary : We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to perform medical assessments for veterans. This role focuses solely on independent medical evaluations and will not involve treatment. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, conducting in-depth evaluations, and completing VA-provided Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure online platform. These assessments play a critical role in helping the VA make accurate disability determinations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal.
• Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans to document current health conditions.
• Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates to capture all relevant medical findings.
• Ensure thorough, accurate DBQs are submitted within 24 hours of each assessment.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.

Schedule : This position involves travel across the United States, with Telehealth options also available.
