Description : Unit Information :

Number of Beds - 36

Number of Staff :

Day Shift includes 1 charge, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs

Night Shift includes 1 charge, 8 RNs, 3 CNAs

Patient Ratios are 1 : 5, may flex to 6.

Type of equipment includes Tele and EMR system.

Typical hiring profile :

Skill Set Most recruited for :

Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Preferred or nice to have :

Ortho and / or Trauma patient experience.

List typical procedures performed / Common Diagnoses on unit :

Polytrauma patients, non-surgical cervical fractures cleared by spine, ortho, trauma with downgraded traumatic brain injury, no more than 3 drains, and burn downgrades.

Heparin and Protonix drips.

Best personality fit :

Team player.

Floating Area(s) : All Med-Surg Units.

Dress Code :

Scrub color - Royal Blue.

Unit Guidelines / Policies :

Be on the unit for Huddle before shift start.

Weekend commitment required.
