Position Summary

CK Transportation is seeking qualified CDL A drivers for consistent regional work originating in Fort Wayne, Indiana (46802). This role offers dependable miles, structured schedules, and a professional environment built around safe driving and clear expectations. Drivers in this position support a steady Midwest freight network that prioritizes practical routing and predictable operations.

Primary Duties

Drivers manage regional freight assignments that focus on efficiency, safety, and time management. With 100 percent no-touch freight, your work incorporates drop-and-hook procedures designed to minimize delays and ensure continuous movement. Routes are planned to balance daily productivity with a routine weekly reset at home.

Required Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL and provide proof of at least six months of recent regional or OTR driving within the last two years. An active DOT medical card is required; if renewal is needed, our team can provide guidance. A solid safety background and consistent driving history help ensure success in this role.

Home Time & Scheduling

Drivers return home weekly for a 34-hour reset, with weekend time at home incorporated whenever possible. This schedule supports a balanced lifestyle while maintaining reliable work patterns. The Midwest regional lanes are structured to offer straightforward planning and manageable transit times.

Fleet & Equipment

Drivers operate late-model Freightliner, Volvo, and Peterbilt tractors equipped with APUs and inverters. Additional comfort items-such as refrigeration units-can be added when requested. Our maintenance program emphasizes preventative care to limit interruptions and ensure equipment remains dependable throughout each assignment.

Compensation & Benefits
