Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Atlassian Solutions Architect to spearhead the architecture, administration, and optimization of our client's Atlassian tools. This role is perfect for a professional with extensive experience in Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence who can design scalable solutions and implement best practices while supporting various teams in a dynamic environment.
This position offers a hybrid work model and is ideal for an architect-level professional who excels in both technical and strategic roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive Jira and Atlassian solutions that encompass workflows, automation, permission schemes, service projects, and system integrations.
- Facilitate discovery sessions, gather requirements, and conduct design workshops with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Implement scalable configurations supporting enterprise processes, Agile frameworks, incident / problem / change management, and release workflows.
- Enhance system performance, perform platform audits, and establish enterprise governance and best practices.
- Create integrations between Jira and other platforms using REST APIs, middleware, and automation tools.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and mentorship to Jira administrators and Agile teams.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure data protection, access controls, and audit readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
7-10+ years of experience with Atlassian products , with at least 4+ years in an architect or senior administrator capacity.Expert knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Access, and Automation for Jira .Proven experience designing Jira architectures for large-scale enterprise environments (thousands of users).Proficiency in Jira Cloud administration , scripting (Groovy, ScriptRunner), and REST API integrations.Experience in building workflows that accommodate Agile, DevOps, SDLC, ITIL, and enterprise PMO teams.Background in user management, governance frameworks, permission models, and multi-project structures.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to business leaders.Preferred Qualifications
Atlassian Certifications (ACP-420, ACP-620, ACP-120, ACP-520, etc.)Experience with Atlassian Cloud-to-Cloud migrations or transitions from cloud to data center.Familiarity with tools such as Bitbucket, Opsgenie, Statuspage, Trello, or Jira Align .Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, enterprise SaaS).Why This Role
