Location : Plainview, NY 11803

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Job Type : Contract (Full-time preferred; part-time considered)

Registered Nurse (RN) Educator – OPWDD Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced RN Educator with a strong background in OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) to join our team. This role involves training staff on a variety of clinical and health-related topics to ensure compliance, safety, and quality of care within our programs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

Train and certify staff in AMAP and conduct AMAP Recertification Training.

Provide education on :

Infection Control

First Aid & Seizure Management

CPR

Bloodborne Pathogen Education

PPD (Mantoux) Administration & Reading

Diabetes Management (OPWDD)

Tube Feeding & Colostomy Care (OPWDD compliant)

Assist with curriculum development and updates in line with OPWDD regulations.

Conduct on-site, field-based training at various program locations.

Must be willing to work evenings / weekends and travel locally as needed.

Requirements :

Valid RN license (New York State)

Experience with OPWDD training and regulations required

Must be able to commute to or relocate to Plainview, NY 11803
