Examine and verify all admissions. Examine and verify all daily admissions legal documents for accuracy. Must be thorough and attentive to detail. May need to contact Judges, County Attorney's, Attorney General's office and clerks of court to correct inaccuracies, non-compliances w / Iowa code, and / or clerical issues. Determine if appropriate sentencing code and length of sentence is correct compared to trial information, Iowa Code, and sentencing order. Determine if a mandatory minimum applies to a particular sentence per the Code of Iowa and determine which time computation law is applied toward the sentence. Determine if sentence is to be served concurrent or consecutive, if not mandated by the Judge per the Code of Iowa. Enter generic note when any programming is court ordered. Enter in release notifications a "no contact order" is issued. Contact counselor if EM contact is also NCO. Enter generic note and notify the counselor & treatment supervisor if reconsideration program is ordered / progress report. Enter ICE File number from INS Detainer if filed. Enter sentencing information such as crime code, mandatory minimum, jail credit in the computer, row based on information from the sentencing order and trial information. Identify offenders with additional fingerprinting needs.
